I heard Casa De Tixer is cheaper and more fun than the Hilton. Speaking of apple, Angry Orchard is a pretty good beer. Just sayin' So it sounds like drinking, drag racing, and Oktoberfest. Geez, I just may not want to go back to work. I think BadSax would approve of this. Perhaps he will say yes to this event and be our slant-eyed chaperone.

I'll be easy to find, I'll be the guy who's managed to get so drunk while flying, I'll most likely be passed out on the baggage carousel...

I may just have them attach one of those checked baggage tags around my wrist so they don't lose me...

Surly is a nice place buts it's going to be crowded and expensive. I'm sure Mike knows of a few better place.

A friend at work just came back from up der and went to Surly. He saidthey have a great tap room with alot of stuff not for sale in chicago. Not a must, desired for at least a short gulp & spend visit.

We could sure plan a stop at Surly. It's big, new, shiny, and popular.. even they are calling it a "destination brewery." But the beer is good, so why not?

I don't think those police officers were used to hearing some real east coast cursing... They seemed as surprised to see me yelling at the weather, as I was to see them standing there... Who would of thought I'd be leaving 80 degrees and arriving into 20's...

Just so everyone is aware, all of the local tracks are done for the year including Rock Falls who announced an early closure due to some remodeling and track repair under new ownership. So, everyone should plan to go cause some trouble at the Frankensteiners Show. Too bad we have plastic bumpers. That makes putting a flamethrower setup on these cars a really bad idea. LOL
