Pullied 3 - Another total makeover

Minnesota requires a front plate too. Thus far, I have yet to install one. Only one ticket in the almost 3 years that I've lived here.. if I ever receive ticket#2, I may change my strategy.

Thank you Jeremi

Well this is long overdue but I owe a great thanks to Jeremi. This car he has created is unreal.

If you want womething done right, Do it youself - SCRATCH THAT - Have Jeremi do it.

I could not have done what you all have seen in this thread in a million years, well.... maybe a million and 1. He also gave me one hell of a deal to get the car back; such a great deal that considering how much money I had previously invested in the car I could not pass it up. When I sold it to him I completely walked away. If he had not started this particular thread this car would have a new owner by now - sorry to all potential buyers out there; but not really!
Now, keep in mind I had previously only driven a stick maybe 20 times in highschool when helping out a landscaper friend of mine. I do have a Harley but it's completely different. My 6'5" frame is getting used to using a clutch, my knee hits the steering wheel sometimes but surprisingly my bad back has not affected me once (that has been the main reason going through life in automatics).
Anyway, I am off the topic again. THANKS JEREMI. Wish there was some way to show you how much I appreciate all that you have done but there isn't. All I can do is drive the car and finish what we have strarted (I say 'we' since I installed a whole new OEM air system that he retained during his build LOL).

I have put on about 2,000 miles since I picked it up on June 3. Here is a pick after its first wash. It's not completely dry, moved it onto the garage to finish drying and detail.

And this is how I temporarily mounted the front plate for inspection. I took it to the same guy I take all my cars to in Cambridge down the street from work and he remembered the car and loved the change. He also looked past the #12thhn wire holding the plate to the grill. I did get a bracket a few days after this but have yet to install the bracket. I am currently without plate in the front.

-----

Well, I have no more upload space apparently so I can't upload another photo:(
I know! I should become a paying member but...we'll see. I'm just a :fart when it comes to $ and especially transfering money through the internet. My connection at home is not too secure (use my work G4 usb card through a Cradlepoint CBR400 wireless router and just don't trust it, even though I have it fully secured). Maybe this will eat away at me and friday at work I may subscribe.

I HATE PAYPAL.
WHY DO THINGS ONLY ACCEPT PAYPAL?
In 3-5 days my money will be in my paypal account then I can buy a membership, then I can post pics and sound clips for those interested (I know I am one of those interested). Hopefully I don't forget.

Happy its back in your garage.
You dumped so much money into that car.
Great ending to a bad start.
:D
Thanks Ford Nut.
I do have a boat load of money in this car. I wish all that money had gone to Jeremi!!! but whatever, once I get the black emblems off the car the exoricism will be complete.
I am going to start a new thread for the car (with pics when I am a member) but for now I will hint at future plans...
Paint, Redo the exhaust per Jeremi's suggestion, Interior head liner replacement (believe the sun roof used to leak and that some mold may be up there, there is a stain), Navigation Unit with some form of speaker/amp/sub upgrade, Delrin Bushings, acquire original Lincoln emblems for grill and trunk, acquire center caps w/ lincoln Logo, fix drivers seat lubmar, dynomat interior and eliminate any possible squeaks and such in the interior. There are many other things to do but for now I am driving it - go figure.

I am going to use this car to perfect my detailing skills before it gets painted. Gonna invest in a Porter Cable polisher and all the pads and compounds and get practicing. Worst thing that happens is that I burn through the paint and get it painted sooner.

The absolute most improtant thing I need to do is find a local 'Jeremi'. But if the car needs it I will take it 14 hours out to see him.

yrroS, I ma cixelsyd.
And I can't go back and edit that for you. Hopefully you won't hold that against me when I go to buy them. I have always read it and pronounced it the way I spelled it. Never saw the 'l' before the 'r'.

Of course not.

Who are you planning to have install the Delrin Bushing Kit?
I am meeting up with Eric (95BLKLSC) at the end of this month and hoping to hire him to either help me do it or have him to do it - or if he knows of someone local that is capable and knows these cars.
Haven't really thought that far ahead.
When I get serious i'll check threads on how to do it and see if it is something I can tackle myself. I can tool around too, just not very experienced.

Well, consider bringing it to me. $750 cash for the complete Delrin Bushing Kit installed, and you'll get to help.

Consider it considered. How long would it take to install? Would take me about 6 hours to drive there and another to drive back.
