Seriously? You put cotton padding on the hoist pads???

I've always knew you were anal, but I'm sorry, you could never help work on my car. I just roll the jack into position under the subframe brace and hoist away. You'd have a stroke. LOL :D

Dude, you need a car ASAP. Things getting to you a bit much ? :D

LMAO :D :D Shoot, you definitely got me there. This car is very special to me ;)

Seriously though, the rubber pads are beat up from working on a bunch of rather rough cars, and I didn't want to scratch the still fresh paint. It's not only the outside that counts you know :p

Dude! Those damn bearings ALWAYS come out in pieces! :)
This is only the 2nd one I've ever pulled. Ask Eric how much fun it was removing the one out of Gary's engine. :D

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous :p (If it was a black Gen 2 I'd have to sell internal organs to buy it from you...)

Looking amazing Jeremi! I'm as anal about working on my cars as you, difference is I never have time to do any work on my cars so they just sit there in the garage broken :( LOL

Well it doesn't run ... buy you can steer it ;)

First, I had to swap out the original plugged EGR adapter for a low profile 22mmx1.50 plug.

The black DD sleeve needs to be trimmed as the u-joint is being moved up the shaft by about 6". I am trying to keep the telescoping function of the shaft to ease the removal in the future.

Sleeves trimmed, short DD shaft indexed, all parts necessary for the modification to clear the cobra exhaust manifolds.
Still need to index and secure the 6" 36 spline shaft after making sure the steering is dead on.
New steering shaft fully assembled., ready to be installed.
Couple shots of the clearances etc ...

It looks like you found a better tool. That one we rented was a POS!! Great work, that car is going to be amazing when it is finished!

While waiting on some parts, I modified the height sensor/brake line bracket to accept aftermarket SS brake lines instead of the stock rubber ones.
Usually I mount the L shaped brackets directly to the body, but on this car I decided to welded them up and powdercoated, along with cad hardware.
Installation pictures soon as I needed to order some new piston boots for the calipers.

Well, the adapter to the stock line is included, but you're left with mounting the adapter to the chassis somehow. Zip ties, L-brackets, welding ... whatever floats your boat ;)

I have to say it is the little detils like this that are taking this car build to the next level. In 20 years when someone else works on it they are going to think all this was stock from the factory!

Incredible work being done here.

Finally, the clutch fluid reservoir is installed. I reverse bled the system, and the pedal feel is good, slightly on the stiff side, to be expected with brand new parts.
All vacuum lines, and PCV lines are done. I still need to complete the IAC plumbing, couldn't find the right 45 deg fitting locally :frown:
Cruise (Mach1 cable), and throttle cable (2nd Gen M8) are done as well.
