We had no Halloween last year as well do to the freak snow storm. We lost power for 5 days then.

We're almost directly in the path, so the next few hours will be interesting.

Long Island is a mess already, heavy flooding along the south and north shores. My town is under evacuation orders for lower areas which is 90% of the town! The Sound has already breached the sea wall and is coming into town. I'm very high (feet wise - ) so will be dry. So far we have power, I hope it stays. Tonight will be worse, it's really blowing out there though. They expect a storm surge of 11 feet, plus high tide, plus full moon! Oh this will be fun!

5 large trees down so far, i can't get out of my driveway, power has been out, multiple transformer explosions were on the horizon. so far none hit the house and we are safe, i wish the wind would just stop.

If my wife goes into labor right now I hope 911 can reach me, i have no idea if the roads are blocked with trees. we got alerts from the town that multiple trees are down, wires and polls and people are ordered to stay home.

he was scared when i was yelling when the one tree close to the house started to get uprooted, thank God the wind took it away from the house, but i still have trees that can hit the house.

Nah, she won't shovel.

She did try to get to work in the Navigator though but downed trees and low hanging branches blocked both ways.
