Please do!I wonder if I can make it out there this year....of course it would probably have to be in my G8 though.

Wouldn't that be a step up from the usual accommodations anyway ? LMAO ... :eek-large: I might be on the floor...
So this did not go over well with the boss, as I just found out my youngest daughter is bringing her boyfriend along too. 5 adults and a 4 year old in a 2 room suite with 1 bathroom does not add up - and spending another 540.88 for another suite does not add up either. Back to plan A and we all camp out at Hotel Schultz. *I am going to keep this reservation open for a couple days to see what it looks like once the smoke clears.lol How many years have you been saying this?
I think I just booked one of the last rooms at the Fairfield. All they have left on their web site are king with sofa bed corner suites. Going to cram my 2 girls & grand daughter in the king bed and Wendy and I sleep on the sofa bed. Wish me luck, Wendy does not know that I did this yet lol. :eek-large: I might be on the floor...
lol how true is this! I always seem to find a way to get myself into the dog house! :thumbsup:Wouldn't that be a step up from the usual accommodations anyway ? LMAO
And hopefully no one goes to jail htis year LOLThanks Gary! I have marked my calendar as well. Is it safe to assume the venue remains the same? The Atlanta Dragway, in Commerce?
For those not in the know, this is the Southern Super Heavyweight Shootout. A bracket racing event for cars 4000 lbs and heavier. It's a heck of a good time, and very well organized.
I highly recommend making the trip.
Cannon Mobile Marine stepped up again too. Whatever it takes to keep this great event going! It's official.
The Lincolns of Distinction Car Club will once again be a class sponsor for the event.

The main showfield, where I park, opens at 7am.
Anyone interested in going? Breakfast or lunch afterwards?
Gary will be in town, and I'm sure he will forgo sleep to be there.
Looks like I may make it in a day early!!
Absolutely!Would I be able to park near you guys?
Buddy, I park where I park, with friends! That would be great! Car show judging is at lunch break, so you would need to be there, signed in, and be judged at noon. Awards are passed out around 5pm. As for Mark VIII's, JP and I will be there that I know of. We park with a pile of Fords - Marauder's, SHO's, Mustangs, et al. and our former Mark & Marauder owner friend Gary with his CTS V Wagon, unless he chooses to park with the CTS V crowd. There usually is a G8 group of 4 or 5 that are also there.
