I figured I should check in. the trip was indeed uneventful. I arrived at my destination in Georgia at about 10:30 local time. About a 14 hour drive. Not bad at all.

No problems with the car, but it does shake a bit from 75-90 or so.. I'll have to track that down. Averaged just under 24mpg. But I was moving at a pretty good clip. I'm not complaining

I'm jealous... I don't get to depart until Thursday afternoon. I should arrive at HQ Friday afternoon.

Updated TV weather forecast this morning calls for partly cloudy, breezy conditions: 35* / 55* for Saturday. Looks like typical shootout weather!

I plan to be there for early check-in around noon or so. My cell number has not changed for those that already have it. Let me know if you need it, and I will send it to you.

It was a long, long weekend... but I'm sure 'Mike and Mike' have a lot of pics. I only managed a few.

Along the route to GA...

Sunrise at the track...

It took a long time to prep the track after a very chilly and windy night before. Here's a shot of the staging lanes in early time trials...

The Lincolns of Distinction Racing team; tixer with his stock Gen2, Sierra3 with his supercharged Gen1, mlschultz with The Mark and of course the Blue Flame...

I managed to claw my way through the competition in the Street Eliminator class to the finals.

A -0.034 red-light ended my day.
