The Ivory KB car

After bringing the car back home on Friday, I had to address some small issues that showed up during the brake in. Biggest of them was the blower/hood interference.

The engine would torque to the left in reverse only, and the oil fill plug would make the contact with the hood bracing.



I cut the brace a little and bent it up towards the outer skin.



It's invisible standing in front of the car, so it was a big relief. I really didn't want to cut up this fresh pearly hood anymore I had to



I also replaced the air ride compressor plug, and relay with brand new parts. I think this air ride system should be good for next 10 years. Part numbers for reference :thumbsup:

Yeah, the car is back in PA. Prowling the streets doing what it does best. Being one wild ride. :roll_over:

I just realized we never got any outside footage of this car in action. So this will have to do for now. Make sure to turn up the volume !

That does sound great. I didn't have to turn it up much at home though, it sounds like it filled the whole neighborhood with sound.

Yeah, it is pretty loud, people can't figure out where the noise is coming from since the car is such a sleeper.
It was a buddy's phone.
