2007 Annual MI M8 Meet SIGN UP !

I did not leave work till like 12:45 as I am a closer, plus I work with morons that do not do their jobs. I am putting final prep together and will be rolling in about a half hour.

Ok, the hotel is pretty nice, especially for the price...
the only thing it seems to be missing is a pool, or at least if there is a pool, they keep it very well hidden...

We're in room 415, when you (generic you) get here (if you read this in time) make sure to request a room with a balcony. In fact, there doesn't seem to be anyone in the rooms next to us, so shoot for 413, 417 etc if you'd like, the balconies are semi connected.

And who owns the 2nd gen with Georga plates?

i am posting from my car. thank god for modern technology. see if the rooms next to you are smoking .

Ok the only "smoking rooms" are a wing of the 2nd floor, but they say that if you have a balcony room you are free to smoke outside... I say, that I don't think they'd know the difference...

But it would seem that the rooms around us are available... 413 is the room that mirrors mine.

Alright this rocks, I get to see you are going to make it Rene. I have really missed seeing you for the past 2 Carlisle events, that I have not been able to attend.

Brad and I have sure missed you too! Leo has been missing his "quality time" to pick on you about tasteful stickers and such . . .

I hereby appoint Brad to be my proxy in the "Bill picking" department! :fart

I think Brad can handle that - he's ornery enough! Wait till you hear what Brad wants to get to replace his winter truck next Spring . . .

If you like the really shiny tire shine, I'm bringing 3 cans to give away at the meet . . . no need for you to buy ;)

Well, the diff swap was a success. We also discovered that sharon's gas tank was barely mounted to the car......it was resting on the exhaust!!!!!!

Just got home. Had a FANTASTIC time! Thanks to everyone for the good time, the help fixing my car and a special thanks to Margaret and Jeremi for hosting this wonderful event, and a special special thanks to Jeremi for possibly saving my life (Hubby did mention he wanted to talk to you about that....) ;)

It was as always great to see the usual faces, and I met a lot of new people this time too!

WooHoo! :D

What a great weekend! A BIG thanks to all who came and a special thanks to Jeremi and his lovely wife Margaret for being such gracious hosts!

It was a great time, and we sure appreciate Jeremi and Margaret hosting this event! I look forward to seeing more photos posted, and have a few I can post too . . .

Thanks to Joe (BadSax) for supplying his support personnel and vehicle ;)
Glad to have videos, too!!

Hi Everyone! :) We made it back home, and the Mark... Well, The Mark made it to Aric's shop with a little help...

First, Thanks to Jeremi, Margaret, and their friends and family for hosting this excellent event! I hope we can do it again next year!

Thanks to Rene, Brad, Joe, and Jeremi for the cover find and delivery. I really appreciate it. :)

It was a pleasure seeing everyone again, and finally meeting others that I have known and chatted with for years.

Thanks to our neighbors for coming to rescue us.

Thanks to the flatbed driver for not putting a single scratch on the Mark.

Last, but not least, a H U G E Thank You to Ryan and Aric from Injected Engineering! :) I called Ryan at home while he was enjoying his day off when the Vortech let go about 38 miles from my home. He got me the phone number to call the flatbed truck, and then both he and Aric drove across town to open the shop up to put the Mark inside. My hat is off to you guys!

Don't really know why this happened just yet, as everything was perfect the entire trip. I can tell you that I put that Vortech out of it's misery though.

Aric cut the belt off, and drove the Mark into the shop. It sounded fine without the belt. No other symptoms or problems, just the blower failed.
