2007 Annual MI M8 Meet SIGN UP !

I'm wondering about the Sat night party, and if anyone would like me to bring some sound equipment, nothing too big, but maybe just something for a little outdoor music.

So someone let me know...

:D -J

MI crew says OF COURSE !!!!

I couldn't imagine a better party !!!!

Ohh a sound system cool! One word "DragonForce"! Metal gods for sure. Not that much money but just enough that I might be able to bring some beers and a nice new bottle of Dulmore to the party for anyone interested to try. I will have to leave early Friday Morning as I work till like 1:30 am Friday morning. Got the Crown shined up some today and I am looking forward to this.

MI crew says OF COURSE !!!!

Excellent... :D

Also thanks for the PM Jeremi,
Friday is gonna be great, and Sharon can attest to how wonderful I am at sitting and drinking and occasionally heckling, while other people work on cars...
Althought I admittedly heckle much less when it's my car being worked on.

I dunno Trix, it's not every day I get to drink my own quarter keg of beer...
or burn every phone book in the house for heat... (it was pretty cold that night)

Do you think the two were somehow related?

Anyway, that was a pretty great party, and your neighbors were so very cool with everything...

So do we know how many people will be staying at the hotel?

I was pushing them for a group rate, but I don't think were going to have enough rooms booked.

:D -J

Well, Mike is there already, Charlie is coming in on Friday, Sharon and Hubby, JP's crew (4 ppl), and you guys. I don't know if everyone is staying at the same place though. There are other options in the area, so maybe you need to shop around if the price is no good.

I think Mark would probably stay at the hotel too, but it's a bit late to ask for a group rate, honey. But if you can do it, more power to you.

And thanks Jeremi- you're saving our butts - Mike is running around like a chicken with his head cut off. ;)

Looks a heck of alot better than the so called "Irish Pubs" around Youngstown Ohio. They think you just put a few Guinness signs up on the walls and offer Guinness on tap and that you are an Irish Pub. At least this pub seems to have quite a selection on tap and also an entire menu devoted to Scotch whiskeys. I for one am looking forward to the beer tasting this weekend as I have had over 250 plus different kinds of beer and love to try any local craft beers. I soon hope to even start to brew my own. I am bringing with me a sampler pack from Great Lakes Brewing in Cleveland Ohio with contains 3 bottles each of Burning River Pale Ale, Eliot Ness Amber Lager, Holy Moses White Ale, and Dortmunder Gold. These can be used for the tasting session as well as the six bottles of Rail Bender Ale from Erie Brewing in Erie PA. Not to mention the bottle of Dulmore 12 year single malt scotch that I am bringing. The Trunk is full of stuff and I am basically ready to roll out tomorrow morning. Oh and get ready to smile as I am known to be quite a shutterbug now. LOL Look forward to meeting some new faces and also spending time with old friends that I have not seen in a few years. Oh and I hope you don't mind Sharon, but I wish to take some photos of the guys working on your rear end. LOL

Thanks for the warning, I'll polish up those tail pipes for the pics Bill ;)

We're bringing Mai Tais (Bob Chinn's world famous) and Gumbo (a beerdog specialty which smells the whole house up).

And yes, that restaurant looks great!

honeys, rear ends, mai-tais, gumbos .... guys this was supposed to be a nice and quiet weekend ... NOT !

Bill, I'll have some "exotic" beers for you to try, however your walking abilities might be impaired.

It is spicy. It is a cajun smoked duck and sausage gumbo. Completely from scratch. I also love whiskey. I gues I will bring a bottle of Connemera irish. MAybe also the 23 year old rum.

I am used to higher abv beers like 7 - 9 percent stuff. I do like an exotic though. As for the quiet weekend stuff you can kiss that goodbye. Oh and the gumbo sounds delish. Another whiskey drinker, this rocks. I will have my LOD flask with me most of the weekend so if anyone needs a nip they are welcome to it. LOL this is going to rock. Well I am going to bed to leave early tomorrow morning. See you all there.

it needs to stop raining, im hating these water spots, thanks for the tint matt, wish i could be there tomorrow, but ill see u guys saturday
