2007 Annual MI M8 Meet SIGN UP !

Thanks, JP. Wendy and I had a good chuckle about it, and I did not have to do any walking. :) Aric and Ryan will make it right again, so, nothing for me to be upset about. :)

WTH Mike ? Did the blower lock up ? Oiling system failure ?

Maybe you're having vortech idler issues like many others ?

I was gonna wait for you to come back next year for that cover, but we wouldn't see a single picture of your car in the meantime, would we ? ;)

lol Jeremi :) The flatbed driver said he saw some oil spray under the car while hooking the chain to it, but I did not look. It looked perfect on top, and I did not see any oil spray from topside.

It did not cut or throw the belt, so it was not totally locked up. But, from what Aric and Ryan said, it is not just the bearings - the impeller fins are torn up too.

lol Yep, you are right about the cover. I closed the hood when it was dark out, and the cover was off to show the guy with the t-bird the IC, so, I did not even notice the cover was off when I closed the hood.

Mike-sorry to hear about your troubles. Hope they find the reason and resolve the problem for you. Thanks tto Jeremi my trip home was uneventfull. I think I have identified what caused the belt shift and will address it. Wish I had a video of Drillers Burn out at the photo shoot. It was a beaut !!! Way to go Driller!!!

I was the next to last to leave, and I didn't see a video camera so I'm wondering if anyone caught that scorcher JP. Real shame if they didn't, you'll have to get another one filmed and we can edit it into the official video.LOL

Well thank you all for a wonderful weekend. I will try to get the photos that I took developed this week sometime. Thank you again to our gracious hosts for everything and letting me setup my campsite in their large back yard. It was so great to see so many old friends and make a few new ones. And Joe you may not have the hat you must get your own. LOL I rolled out about 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning and arrived home about 9 pm that night after a day spent with my friend John at Cedar Point. I now have ridden Maverick and it is just awesome. I hope that you get you cars problem fixed Mike. Glad to see that everyone made it home safe.

I saw Driller's burnout too!

Actually, it was doughnuts also.:)

I was in front of him and nailed it just to give him plenty of room.:D

I first saw it in my mirror, then I slowed down and turned my head around to watch it.:)

It was great!

I'm sure glad to see everyone made it home safe!

It sounds like Mike was especially lucky; at least his breakdown was close to home, and not halfway there . . . great to have people that will take such good care of you!
