Thanks guys. I really love the car like no other that I have owned. The only other car that came close was my 91 Town Car which of course is also a Lincoln. See a pattern here?
I plan to hold onto this car very tightly especially considering the big cars of today are turning into little econoboxes. Quite frankly, most of Lincoln's new offerings make me wanna puke and the throttle-by-wire idea has me petrified. I feel that it is very similar to hoarding because I can't let go, but I only have one.
I can completely understand Mark VIII hoarding like I have seen on here with members who own 2, 3, or even 6 Mark VIIIs
I hope I don't make too many enemies by that econobox statement but I do love big cars, and big Lincolns have been my favorite. So, in order to keep this big Lincoln I have whose sisters are quickly going extinct from the driveways and grass fields and heading to the junk yard, I have a few things to do to it.
I have small rust issues in the very early stages on the driver's side and passenger side door edges. I need to take care of this rust, 2 small scratches, and I plan on a rebuild of the engine before she hits 200K miles. Right now, she sits at 114K miles. Thanks for the compliments.
