are the transmisions in the 94 and 98 mark the same. the motor went out in my 94 and im looking at geting a 98. i had the 94 trans rebuilt and jmod and only has 10k miles after rebuild. thought is switch them if they are compatable.
The '98 is a MUCH stronger tranny.... I bought a new pigtail at the L/M dealer for repinning a few years ago for my 97-98 replacement. Quite inexpensive as I recall.
The 98 tranny will need nothing but a Jmod and service to be better than the 94 tranny will ever be. You can't give the earlier ones away - I've tried.
