i have a 95 town car , i bought it cheap and have been running it for a few months.... it has the converted coils in the back.... seems just fine....
there is a laundry list of small issues with it..... passenger window , driver door panel , radio....steering column has electronic issues....a few superficial dents...
bad two stage paint..... that said it runs and drives like a bear every day.
i decided that i really liked the car , and that i wanted to keep an old town car

so i bought another one....1k ... looks much better , all the amenities are fully functional....one dent (in an easy spot to fix and blend)....

but (there is always a but) it does the droop.
i was told it was the pressure regulator , and that the bags were brand new.
i was also told that the reg could be bypassed , and the car would pump up , but the pump would run all the time and blow the bags...... i have a haynes town car book (no user serviceable parts inside).... can anyone help me locate the regulator and how to bypass it? .... my converted car most likely has a good regulator still on it .

i eventually want to put a trailer hitch on it , should i just suck it up , and put the coils in the new car?

another ???? has anyone tried to stuff the driveline in something else (like a ranger or a maverick?).....
