O.k. i got the maf out and am working on getting the adapter on and putting the filter on, i am going to use leos stealth mod, but one question without the cone the maf fits loose in the box,can i get a foam ring or collar to fit the gap, i just don't want dirt and stuff getting to the throtle body, if you guys got other mounts please tell me, and post pics where neccassary, i need to get this done, being without the mark sucks. can i cut the stock rubber tube down and clamp to maf, i still think the maf is too small , please post please!!!!!!!!I am in dire need of help!!!!!

Thinking outside of the box(pardon the pun), you may be able to wrap some self-vulcanizing rubber tape to the outside of the MAF until it is a snug fit to the stock rubber elbow.

driller, i may not be a smart man, but what is self vulcanizing rubber tape & where do i get it? I pm geno and heard nothing I know he is real,real busy doing a lot of things. so the tape may be the way to go!, I will try geno again but indeed the rubber ring is what I need, you have been an awesome help, thanks driller!!!!!

You should be able to find the tape at an industrial electrical supply, the same place local electricians get their supplies from. It has a liner you peel away from the tape as you unroll it. Self vulcanizing just means it sticks to itself such that the several layers become one thick layer. To use it, just start wrapping it stretching the tape as you go, until enough layers are built up to the thickness you need.
BTW, this may work, but I would still deem it temporary.

welcome back brad first of all,thanks for all the help, one last question, how bout getting a s shaped pvc pipe to go into the existing hole to bring air into the box, will that work?, i was thinking of that how big is the factory hole where the air box used to be? thanks again
