Congratulations winners!

My candidates won, unlike my political choices lately.:D

LOL, thanks Bill for helping me decide to not worry about appearing 'partisan' on selecting the celebrity judge pick.

There were a lot of very nicely done modified cars throughout Carlisle, but FLM Fan's CE was a standout! :)

JP.. Thanks!
My big win this weekend was getting to meet and spend time with the club members. I had a ball!

Congratulations everyone! I sure missed being there this year, I was pissed all weekend!

We were hoping you'd make it on Saturday, Leo . . . hope you're feeling much better!!

I felt fine on Friday... Saturday was another story! They still call me Gimpy for now but it will pass.

By the way, what awards were given out at the banquet and who won them?

And... what club won the best club tent? Were we at least in the running?

I won't tell Brad about the Gimpy part :D

We were all betting the Yellow Mustang Club would win the Best Club Tent. They had a Hawaiian Luau themed tent that obviously took a lot of time to put together. The LOD tent was the best ever though, with the laminated Mark VIII posters and Bill's display.

Glad you're feeling better Leo, you were missed!

Don't know about the club tent, but that one really went all out. They don't make it very clear how the voting actually happens or when.

We know what the competition will be for next year now.:D

We've got all year to improve. Did anyone get any photos of their tent?

I forgot exactly who got what, but here goes:

Nancy - best non Mark VIII (Lincolns only - no caddys allowed)
Rene
Chris
Dean
Ron I think.

We need to come up with some good categories for awards for next year, I know I was a little confused as I think there was best 1st gen, best 2nd gen, best stock and best modified, and it got a little confusing as to which car should go where. Plus I always like to see some variety, and the awards pretty much reflect who wins the Carlisle awards.

Speaking of which, Leo, Hubby's car got 3rd place in stock. His car was NOT the 3rd best stock car out there, and I believe he left the towels on the interior which is crap, and I doubt he opened his hood as he never detailed our engines. Yet, his car is red, which goes with your theory about people choosing a red car over any other color.
