Carlisle tent "theme"

I always thought the Presidential theme would be cool.

Blacked out Town Car with fender flags.

Maybe we could get a presidential seal as a magnetic door cling.

Red, white and blue table buntings.

Mandatory secret service agents on duty at the tent with dark shades and the obligatory corded earpiece.

:D

Yeah, I thought we were doing something red, white and blue. Wasn't Dean gonna get some stuff?

I'm open to whatever.

I bet I could rock a pillbox hat though.

Drool! and LOL 74!

This must be one of the "toys" you need to sell that you seemingly forgot to put in my trunk.

I don't think the case for that one would even fit in the trunk! ;)

There wasn't enough goodies in that trunk already?

I believe the ak-74 is a real gun. Its similar to the 47 but is chamberd fir the 5.56. Made by israeli Arms I think.

I think you're right. Never seen one though.

It is real, but it isn't 5.56. I'm going to guess he meant 47 just because I'm going to guess a 74 is pretty rare and ammo would be very hard to come by

How about a theme of extreme extravagance. Champaign, crystal glasses, chandeliers, smoking jackets, and cigarette holders.

LOL, I never drink Champaign, the water's too dirty. :p

Crystal glasses at a car show?

A chandelier in a tent?

Smoking jackets in June?

:fart

You weren't part of my Friday champagne toast that one year, where we tanked half a dozen bottles at the hotel? :D

I did even bring champagne flutes... cause we don't mess around... :D

Why not drink beer in disposable plastic Champaign flutes. And believe it or not, they do make battery powered chandeliers for tents!

Instead of smoking jackets how baout we get a box of toy pipes for all to "smoke?"

If you are going to play Hugh Hefner then i think you need playmates :D

I just ordered 2 magnetic base US flags to put on the Presidential Town Car. :)

I need to find Presidential Seal knock-offs in magnetic stick-ons or perhaps in vinyl.

JP, where do the flags attach? quarterpanels? Are the hoods still aluminum on the newer Town Cars?

(Funeral flags don't stick to the '86. I've dealt with that twice now.)

I can most definitely appreciate the potential laziness that the smoking jackets and champaign could accommodate, It seems like we're off and running on our Presidential theme.

Presidential theme inspiration photo:

Nevermind that they're all GM products. although it looks like the SWAT guys know how to pick a truck.

Interestingly, it's mostly SUVs. How many Navigators can we get our hands on? I can think of.. two? that I've seen at Carlisle.

Also, it seems that the current presidential limo does not have logos, nor do the escort vehicles. I'd be tempted to do it anyway, just to drive the point home. :)

we just need better Lincoln emblems for it, and appropriate paperwork.

"TOP SECRET 2013 Lincoln Town Car. Based on the Ford Falcon Chassis from Australia, and sporting the new "LINCOLN-STAR" V8. with Dynamic displacement, and L-VVT. 34 Hwy/27 city."
