cobra heads

Found a local guy selling the heads and intake off his smashed cobra. What would be a good price for them and is it worth it? Or would I be better off taking the original heads off and getting them ported, polished, etc.

Buy his heads, take them to FoxLake, install and sell yours.
Price wise - intake - $300-$400, heads around $400-$500.

Does he have any other parts ?

I'm not too sure, I know he sold the block already.

I agree w/ Jeremi. Send 'em to get them p&p'd. The only difference from my understanding between the cobra and Mark VIII heads are the intake cams.

what year cobra? 99 up are a tumble port design. You could make it work but you'd need the intake too. 96-98 are the same as ours.
