You are one dedicated dude. I got mice in my F-350 and they ate the wiring at the firewall connector. I'm still hunting out strange opens and shorts. For example: I can crank the motor by pressing on the brake peddle! The dirt dabbers packed the brake bleed values (covers long gone) with mud.
