Anybody have luck using them? I noticed this winter that some of the lines weren't working.
I remember my dad using one many years ago. It worked, but where the repair was, it got hot faster than everywhere else. Hence you'd get this big "hole" in the fog/frost where it had been repaired with everything else being nice even lines as it warmed up. Is there a secret to applying the stuff so you get an even line? I guess I'm just picky. Can a professional fix it?
Actually there's another reason why I want to try and fix it: My AM reception sucks. And the defroster grid IS the AM antenna, so I'm hoping this'll fix it. A new window is out of the question.
Unless someone here is willing to break it for me in exchange for a small fee.
