Hello, first of; what are the known advantages of a single aluminum 93 driveshaft over the rest of the 2 piece ones?? next, does anyone know what RPM 3.73 gears shift into 2nd,3rd, 4th (or how to figure it out). Lastly, does posi-traction hurt gas mileage at all or is it only in use during initial acceleration?

The 93 shaft is a one-piece - better balance. However I've read that you still would need an aftermarket (Metal Matrix) shaft when going to 4.10 gears. Not sure about 3.73.

Next, I assume you meant "mph" instead of rpms. For 3.73 gearing,

1-2 shift: ~40mph
2-3 shift: ~80mph
3-4 shift: ~105mph (when "OD" left on) ~115 when you shift manually.

I pulled the numbers out of my ear, so they may be off by as much as 5 mph. I also assumed a stock tranny shifting at 6,000 rpms.
