Dyno guess

I beg your pardon! That's a 1.899 sixty foot with a couple low 1.9s. :D

Actually, for March, the air was not very good that day. Density altitude averaged over 2000 feet at a track elevation of 600 feet. But I still managed a 13.8, a 13.6 and a 13.7.

'Bout all I do for weight reduction is empty the trunk and change the wheels. The lightest I've seen my car and I at the track scales was 3,980 pounds.

Hey J, what's up man, it's Serge, so you finally got the Kooks on huh? Are you going to be at SearsPoint or Sac this Wed?

Lol Driller :p

I figured you didn't unload anything because when I went to Infineon on Prez Day, I was launching HARD on my Falkins(WTF? I know) and hit my head on the head rest because I wasn't prepared for how hard it would launch with a 2200 rpm lauch and I got a 1.91 60' time and ran that 14.08. Now that I have my headers and all the bracing, I'm hoping something spectacular will happen, lol!

Who's Serge? hehe just kidding homie! Yeah I got the Kooks on...did you se e my post? :) I'm going to head to Sac and see if I can get traction...you wanna join?! If so, email me so we don't jack Drillers thread...or is there an events section?

Seriously dude, I was running 2.1 60 foots with only the converter, and my 3rd cat/res/muff removed. Back than I didn't know much about the different parts of the time slip so Serge taught me that the lower the 60' the better and he was saying 2.1's are good. :)

JP you need a cobra intake bad... I can tell you how to mod it to make some power. Your curve looks just like mine except yours falls off at 5500rpm's. swap yoru intake, add a power pipe and you will be up around 285.

FWIW, we found out the dyno numbers may not be good as the weather data for the dyno was wayyyyyyy wrong. Not that it really matters, what matters most to me is track results. Now if mother nature would just cooperate.

Whether or not the dyno was correct your power still fell off like a rock wayyyyyyy too early.

Really? Power or torque?

Looks to me like power help pretty good above 250 from 5200 to 6200 rpms? Looks like peak was around 5400 and held pretty level to 5900 before it started to drop.

torque was dropping off rapidly at that point though. better flow and the hp would be going up.

Joe is telling you you need to make your car go faster. When have you ever argued with that? :D
