Hello there,
On Monday, I was driving my 1990 Lincoln Mark VII to work. All of a sudden, waiting a red light, my car turned off completely, not even the lights worked, and smoke was coming out from the back of the hood. Surprisingly, the temperature of the car was normal. After towing it back to my house, my husband looked at it, checked the battery and alternator and it was fine, so he started it and it was running, but white smoke was coming out of the exhaust, like is burning a great amount of oil. The weekend before he changed the oil, the spark plugs, the air filter, but since we had a bad oil leak, he bought a additive to seal it, may be that caused the problem. They told me at the autoparts place that it could be the engine gasket (head gasket?). Could this be the problem? Please help, any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!;( ;( ;(
