ive been working on this maf thing for 2 days, and just about got (in my head) how i am going to do it, but i need a couple things,an adapter or spacer for the stock maf so i can clamp it to the stock rubber piece on the throttle tube, and asst. bolts and clamps. so what i need are several ideas of where to get the adapter, i know some mustang maf kits have them. but i dont need the whole kit just the piece, driller gave me a good idea about using self vulcanizing rubber tape, i will prob do that ata least until i find someone with an extra adapter laying around,if any of you guys have anything that will work please let me know. also i got a filter and i was trying to mock up how i am going to mount it in the engine bay, i thought about sitting, about 1/2 of it rests in the hole thats already there,so it doesnt wobble in the stock box, will that work or will it restrict air?if that is not a good idea, how would i get it not to wobble in the box? maybe use that rubber tape again to hold it snug in the box? you guys have all been an awesome help for me on this project, and sorry to keep bothering you. Jeff

Jerimi might have some pics of my 99 cobra cone filter housing that he could post. send me an email if you want pics. glenh34@excite.com . it should bolt up to your maf. then you cut out the hole where your existing cold air inlet goes and you are done. cone filter completely enclosed drawing in cold air.
