Last year when I went to pick up the El Camino after having the Megashifter installed there was a guy there who was going over the car, turned out to be George Kook, Jr. Their old place was two doors down from the transmission shop, www.fbperformance.com. They've since moved down the road a piece.
He insisted I bring it up the block to his shop so he could show it to his custom exhaust guy. I nearly fainted when they quoted me over $4000! In any case, it was kind of cool seeing the facility with all the tube benders and welders. Lots of noise and activity putting out a ton of headers for shipment.

JP, were the stage 8's long enough, or did you need the longer ones?
Looks like the o2's are a cinch to change now!
Also, tell us how that new steering knuckle drives.

You need the longer ones.
The test drive report will have to wait. It's still on the rack. One more bend and weld on the drivers side downpipe, then a front end alignment.
The pics were just a hospital visit. :+

Definitely an improvement in torque/HP although I was unable to really run it hard due to the weather and the fact that I still have worn drag radials on. }(
The steering is fabulous with the Flaming River joint. I love it!
