The old check engine was flashing today so a scan check for the error code came up with the following list. This is on a 93 Mark VIII.

172,173,176,177,524,542,543,111

172 Lack of Heated Oxygen sensor switches indicates lean bank 1
173 Lack of Heated Oxygen sensor switches indicates rich bank 1
176 Lack of Heated Oxygen sensor switches indicates lean bank 2
177 Lack of Heated Oxygen sensor switches indicates rich bank 2
524 Low speed fuel pump circuit open battery to control module
542 Fuel pump secondary circuit failure control module to ground
543 Fuel pump secondary circuit failure battery to control module
So is this the fuel pump dying, the wiring harness bad or just a bad ground???
And of course I just filled the tank. Has anyone had this happen?
Does anyone know what the 111 code is?

RE: MIL always means work !

111 is the end of codes, or a separator code between current and history codes... If you go to autozone and give them the codes, they can pull it up on their computer and give you a printout of things to check.

I get all those codes. Did you ever fix it?

I did replace the fuel pump. the CE went away for about two weeks. Its back and it is acting the same way. I havent checked it yet but I think it is the pump controller
