RE: Must have garage tools???

Yeah, you definitely need some kind of blasting device, saves a lot of time. Do you have nice cabinets for your hand tools? Craftsman makes some real nice/expensive cabinets. Those huge RollerBearings cabinets will make your garage look like a pro shop. What about and engine lift along with and engine stand.

blaster
Huge Black cabinets along with a big work bench
engine lift
engine stand
Drill press
anvil on a huge wood stump
reverse ratchet wrenches
saws(circular, reciprocating, band saw)
paint equipment for the compressor

If you like working with wood
lathe

Should you feel the need for one, might I suggest this one http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/photos/04400-04499/04420.gif http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=4420
I have it, and would NEVER buy anything else. This is one of the best/most sturdy engine stands I have ever seen. My father bought one first and had a complete 429 on his and it moved so easy, and with NO fear of it tipping over. And the price is right too.

RE: Must have garage tools???

I prefer the portabands with the chop saw attachment. Those are the best way to go. Around $500 if I remember right from milwakee.

RE: Must have garage tools???

I think you need a neighbor like me who will respect your tools in the morning, but will use the hell out of them when you can't LOL.
Get yourself a Bridgeport style mill and a South Bend Lathe and you will be amazed at what you can do.
