Saved this beast from the crusher ...bought on E-Bay .... I'm keeping it factory stock and has already been entered in two shows... All Ford Nationals at Carlisle will be the next one. It might get a glance or two ... I'm not looking for a trophy ... Just showing off what a little bit of hard work can accomplish like the rest of you fine Lincoln owners!

Thanks, John! I love the color also and the full carriage top just gives it that little " extra ". I'm hoping to have the top re-done before Carlisle. But as always, Doctor Fundsarelow, seems to show up at the most inoportune times! :)

I've always loved that color on the pre '94 Town Cars. Does it have the velour interior? That was the finest cloth interior I've ever felt. Ahhhh, memories! :) Thanks for sharing!

It's got the Frost Blue Leather seating..... velour/fabric wasn't a Signature Series option in '92 to the best of my knowledge and according to the Ford Bible/ ;)

Really? No velour in '92? I wonder when that option first was available in the 90's town cars. I *know* it was available in 1995. ;)

I'm reading from page 369 from the Standard Catalogue of FORD 1903 - 2003 Edition: The Executive, it seems is the only model that had the Velour seats standard and Leather was an option ... my bad. I read the options list wrong. Leather was standard on the Jack Nicklaus Edition, Signature Series and the Cartier TC's in '92. I gotta stop using that old Evelyn Wood Speed Reading lesson I took . LOL :eek:

Gonna piggyback off my own thread.... All dressed up and nowhere to go...yet!

Well, 3 weeks to Carlisle and the beast is starting to shape up! There's still a bit more to do... a neverending process. Paint and top are going to have to wait for a while longer. Anyway, have a look see! I'd be interested in any suggestions you might have for making it better!

Thanks, Trixie and again, sorry about the pics .... it doesn't show it too well but the top does need replacing. But all good things come to those that wait. (or win the lottery) :9 ;)
