My new 97 LSC "Leftover" Car

This is the car made from the "Leftover" parts from Jeremi's White Lightning project.

It's the original Michigan car (excellent condition) with the California engine and trans.

Jeremi did an excellent job putting it together, including painting the engine compartment with POR 15 while the engine was out.

He also used some parts that he had, to complete the car, including the LSC neon that was originally on my white CE. :D

The car looks beautiful.:)

The car has about 95K miles and the engine and trans have about 75K miles.

This is the first really "modified" Mark VIII I've had. It's got a lowered spring conversion, tinted windows, and a Trac loc with 373 gears.:cool:

I can't wait to plate it and drive it!

It's raining today so the car is dirty, but I'll get some better photos when I clean it, and install my 20 spokes or Octastars (the tires are junk).

Bud, this car was never a junker, it's just that the California car was better. :)

It's in better shape than all my other cars.

Yes, the neighbors, they don't talk to me, that's a good thing.:D

I don't know if I'd call this one Frankenstien.

I think that would be better for a car that I'd like to build sometime, a Gen 2 with a Gen 1 front end.:D
 
Yeah, it's 4 now.

I'm going to have trouble deciding which 2 to insure this summer.:)

I'll check with Grundy, but I think you have to have the car in the garage. Maybe I could at least get the MG insured by them. I don't mind not insuring the Black one in the summer. Will they insure just for liability?

I'll be taking the green one, as usual, to Carlisle.

If I can talk Jeremi into going, and he doesn't have a Mark then, he can drive any one he wants.:D
 
A true die-hard Mark VIII fan, I keep saying this is the last one, and my wife say's "yeh yeh yeh" it's just when I see a good looking girl.eer I mean mark VIII, I cant resist.
