My '93 died at work-- it ran perfectly when I came in this morning, but when I went to lunch it wouldn't start. It cranks fine, it just won't fire up.
I did notice that the tach needle wavers around 350-400 rpm while it's cranking, just like usual. Does this mean it's safe to rule out the ignition system? I know the crank/cam sensors are the most common culprits, but I assume the tach would stay at zero if the PCM couldn't figure out when to fire the plugs. I also wiggled the harnesses for the heck of it, no dice.
I want to try swapping the fuel pump & horn relays, but I don't have my owner's manual with me. Does anyone know which is which?
Thanks in advance!
