so recently i sold my gray 93 mark that my wife was driving and replaced it with a black on light graphite 98 lsc. now we both have a black 2nd gen lsc, as does her father also! his is the same as mine a black on black. anyway i have a few pics of the car as it was discovered in statesville north carolina. my buddy dan told me about the car and it didnt take long before i bought it and got it home to florida. the owner had passed away from a heart attack and the car say in his wifes garage for 6 months until dan yanked it out and gave her the money for it, i then flew up there to get it and drove it back with zero problems. 610 miles after sitting 6 months and she made it. the car has 209k on it and everything works except the neon which will soon. even the cup holder still works! the miles didnt scare me, look at some before and afters. i got the car last saturday and have already spent alot of hours making her pretty again. the car is in awesome condition for the miles.

Verrrry nice! What did you use on the armrests and the leather to get it clean?

I wish my wife could ask me for an LSC!

the only thing i use on interior is mr. clean magic erasers and water thats all. they are killer on interiors. and its water in the engine bay, i rinsed everything down to get all my buffing compound dust out of there.

Those are some sweet rides Jamie. FLM Fan is right, from the pics in the engine bay it looks like you had a hell of an oil leak there. Just must be resolution or some such. Best of luck with those cars Dude. PS. I can't wait to get my speedstars on my ride.

you have to be careful though how hard and long you scrub one area inside our cars because that magic eraser can start to pull the color out of the leather or the vinyl door panel parts. dont spend too long in one certain area!

Yeah, those things will friction the hell out of anything they touch. But if used right, what an amazing invention.

The car looks beautiful Jamie!

2 Black cars and in Florida! You can really take the punnishment.:D

Loving that pic of the front of the house! Marks everywhere!

<< ... that magic eraser can start to pull the color out ... >>

That's what I heard after I bought some and why I hesitated to use them on my interior. From what I understand there's very finely ground fiberglass shards in the pads. I still want to try it, lightly. I also read that a decent soap and a water-moistened rag will work too. Anyhow.....

Congrats from me on picking up the 98 LSC! Looks great!

when i say it can pull color you really have to bare down on one spot for a while, dont hesitate to try it, you will be blown away seriously, just dip in water, ring out and start lightly wiping back and fourth, its magic!! thats why they call them magic erasers!!
