Preparing the car for Carlisle?

Thanks Chris, and thanks for the photos Jeremi!

Chris, here's a photo for you. It will only cost you a 20 spoke center cap. Wait a minute.. you already gave me 4 center caps for free. Scratch that. :D

ug... my grey car was hit while parked at my house yesterday...

The damage looks mainly to be deep scratches in the paint down the pass side rear fender and bumper...

I haven't had a chance to really see how bad it is yet...

Unbelievable ... someone just hit it and left? :(

That totally sucks Joe! Hope everything works out OK for you...

Hey Bill! When you get everything put together get some good pics for me! Car looked great leaving the shop!

No problem Keith, I'm always taking photos of my cars.:D

Thanks again for the excellent paint job on the bumper, that thing was in terrible shape. I actually forgot that it had license plate holes in it.:)

And thanks for having the dent and glass guys there at the same time, nice one day service.;)

I have no idea where to start my list.

Things I definitely will have done:
Replace Evap tray
Clean and wax everything
install Intech cover
troubleshoot electrical oddities

Things I would like to do:
Replace rims and tires with the good set of Octastars
Fix fading paint spots
Replace brakes
Clean MAF sensor
Get windows tinted
Swap Transmission

I just brought it home on Saturday, so prep time is short. Next year will be better

When out to start mine by washing and claying it and found that the passenger rear bag is deflated....... another Carlisle curse! It just may stay that way until after...it inflats when I start it.

Thanks Jesse, but I think it's NOT the bag but a connector or something as it stays inflated when the key it on and the pump shuts off.....
got it washed, cleaned and clay barred yesterday..... but you can still see it's a daily driver....just a clean one! Wax coming up today...I hope!

Already done:
Oil change
Serpentine belt
Front rotors
Front pads

This weekend:
Wax on, wax off
Clean interior

Well here she is, all clean, dressed and pressed and no date! I thought that I would post a few pic's since I now won't be attending Carlisle. I was not sure about the carrage roof when I first saw her, but the great thing is I dont have to deal with the lasagna effect on the rear window seal. Once again I am really bummed about having to cancel the trip but duty calls. :(

Looks good Mark!

Mine is not too close yet but I'm getting there... Hand polishing the 10 spokes really sucked but it was worth it

Hopefully I'll get some before and after shots up before I leave. The car cleaned up really well but still shows signs of a hard 100K :( Good thing it'll be babied from here on out ;)

What's the deal with the upper door trim?

Do you have any detail pics?

There's no project for Moose. Since Moose is enjoying a well deserved "retirement" he's happy to just sit back after a bath and mani-pedi and take a nap.
