OK so I installed my new engine had the transmission rebuilt a week ago and here is the issue I go to drive the car if I try to floor it it backfires out of the intake and stumbles before it wants to go but if u drive it nicely it drives great except when you are cruising at a steady speed it will jump out of overdrive and go into second so the transmission shop says they couldn't get it to shift goofy when I brought it to them I have two engine codes. One is tps circuit below minimum voltage the other is mass air flow sensor above. 7 volts when off. The tps was replaced when I did the engine swap the mass air was fine before I changed the engine is it possible for the tps to be faulty and causing this issue with the backfireing and transmission shift issue

Throttle positioning sensor tells the computer where the throttle is, so if the computer doesn't know then it is liable to not send the proper signal for ignition of the spark plugs (backfire, misfire). Try resetting the computer also.
