since the site split the Ny metro lincolns chapter has been broken down.

Im here to re-group it hopefully a site diffrence wont keep this chapter apart If you wish to join this chapter, where part of this chapter, or wish to know more Please post here

Pete I thought I heard Alex say the chapter is still alive you just need an active leader or something of that nature.

Count me still in Petey. Technically all we need to do is elect a new President and we're back in business.

Since Petey founded the chapter I'd like to nominate him as President. Once this is done I'd like to see this chapter become more active in events such as car shows and mini meets. The NY chapter needs to become active, one BBQ a year is not enough.

yes very true chris, but the former president has done Nothing so i need a basis of the new membership

So do I John but he seems to not want to participate for whatever his reasons are. Frankly we're all baffled by his absence here. Anyway, I have a suggestion... disband the present NY Chapter based on the LOD rules and simply start up a new one from scratch with new elections and members. If Ed wants to run for Pres. and participate he is more than welcome to do so.

Petey is taking the initiative to get this started so let's stand behind him and start fresh again.

I would like to see a NY Chapter forum started up so these discussions can be had there.

How far upstate does the metro chapter go? I am about 2 hrs north of the city and 45 mins south of Albany. I would be interested in joining, but if required meetings are in the city I might be able to attend many of them. Let me know.
