Not a clue Matt, we're as befuddled as you are about his siding over there. To be honest the NY Chapter never held a single event except a BBQ once a yr. This is now the chance to regroup and hahve an active chapter. If Ed wants to participate he is perfectly welcome to, but I wouldn't worry about whether or not he understands.

Oh I'm formulating a rough draft of the bylaws for the New York Metro Chapter.
Article 37 a. At no such time, nor for any circumstance, may the President of the New York Metro Chapter, of the Lincolns of Distinction Car Club, post, display, or advertise any material, logos, or photographs of Corvettes. Failure to follow said article will result in the immediate hanging and flogging of said President. Also, his limp dead carcus may be pelted with yellow smiley faced stress reliever balls at the clubs' discretion.

I'm with ya Pete even though I agree with John's Metro by-laws.
Ed is a great guy and he is still has an open invitation to join our local chapter and have us all over for BBQ, even if he doesn't agree with the board change, he shouldn't jump ship on us locals, this isn't a civil war.
I'm in for getting together for a meet with Frank and the New England chapter, maybe we can arrange something half way like Conn.
Maybe a state park where we can roll in with a BBQ & coolers.
I did see an ad for Ford/Merc/Linc meet at Mustangs Unlimited in Conn. in one of the mags in our goody bag from Carlisle but it seems to elude me now, maybe one of the New Englanders heard of this meet.
Let's take a poll on which weekend we can agree on (July/ Aug.)
and move on with this.
