Well I had this issue a month or so back where my 97 would die on me at lights unless I kept the RPMs up, and as suggested found the intake leak and replaced EGR and a couple more little parts, all was fine till last week. It started to feel like a misfire and feels like it's stumbling again, doesn't die on me this time. Codes read lean right and left bank just like last time, my mechanic is saying intake manifold gaskets and to be safe replacing a couple other random gaskets while it's apart. Could this really be the culprit, and how many shop hours should this job take, he is saying 3 or so? Any help is appreciated.
