Carried over from my 'Local Shop in Ma' thread...
'Currently the car is a solid as Jeremi built with the exception that the shifter linkage seems to be loose and I can feel the shifter moving when I hit bumps and such so I want it looked at ASAP (Spring time). I am not sure if it is a function of the crazy custom shifter linkage Jeremi made or my poor manual driving technique. I believe the problem is likely due to my driving the car but the issue didn't start untill the last 200 miles or so and I am much better than when I started (3000 miles ago).'
She originally went into all gears smoothly but for the last few hundred miles there seems to be resistance especially trying to get first gear fully pushed up. 2nd is a little better and I could start to feel 3rd getting tricky.
I sure did pick an awesome car to learn stick shift.
