Shuts off at 112....

Is there any way that I could make it so my car does not shut off so early. My uncles truck we pulled a fuse out that made it so it would not shut off and it did wierd things like the alarm would go off randomly the ding you get when the door is open wouldnt stop whenever the truck was running just little things like that. Is there any way that something like this could be done to these cars? I just want to set the spedo at 140 once and I'll put it all back together.

yes i have 3.73's what rpm does it shut off at? because it depends on if i am going up hill down hill or on a flat up hill is around 110, down hill is 115, flat is 112.

The speedo isn't entirely accurate, but 135 MPH with the stock gears is equivalent to 112 MPH with the 3.73s.
