I know some Cobra guys who have but no Mark VIIIs. I'm sure the heads are different but there are probably other issues I am unaware of.

That looks like a pretty baller intake. doesn't the intake pipe face an opposite direction then the mark 8s?? what kind of gains are we lookin at with one of those(hopefully no loss of low end power!!).

I highly doubt the hood will clear, even in a gen 2.

a guy on one of the other sites is doing a complete Aviator engine swap in to his Mark VIII(Gen 1)...he had to notch the hood, but only slightly.

Don't forget to modify the fuel system. I believe the aviator is a return-less system.

That intake in the car above is not from an aviator. It's the 99-01 cobra setup. It's no surprise it clears the hood as it sits lowert than the b-style intake. Too bad, as the aviator intake seems to be superior.
