This is the end of the road, Galvatron

Well, after numerous stops to a gas station to air up tires, using a vise grip to turn on headlights, using a tweezers to turn the O/D on, having to readjust my battery connectors once in a while, check the transmission fluid every other week, driving under 70 MPH to keep vibration in check, having to deal with some jack ass hitting the car in a parking lot and taking off, having to deal with hitting bumps too hard ont he freeway rubbin against the fender (unless of course air ride is off). After all that I decided it was time to part ways with the mark 8 body. Normally I feel bad to take apart something that was orginally in such excellent condition for me as the mark 8 was. However it's whats inside that counts, right?! Basically with a mark 8 your choices are to spend way too much money to maintain everything and sell it as an entire car to come out behind or to part it out. So I decided that I'll keep the engine/transmission/wiring to someday place into an 80s ranger frame and have fun. It'll probably be better to just get a T-45 and use that instead but ah what do you do. Hopefully I can at least make a couple hundred from parts on this car then get rid of the body to some junkyard. I traded a 2000 kia sephia for it (which is loved by its current owner, may i add) so ya know it wasn't like i paid a ridiculous amount for it.

I dont pay much to maintain mine on jack stands...

Sorry to hear that. Don't get a T-45.

hahaha, yes pretty soon this one will be spending a lot of time on jack stands/car dollies. It probably won't cost a dime to maintain it then! Well, yous hould keep in mind though, a mark 8 powertrain on a ranger frame would probably only be ~3000 lbs so a T45 could handle that well.

Its not so mucht he load, its that when you go past being N/A you'll make lots of torque, even if it isnt right off the line.
