My mark's time has come, it has multiple issues/problems that arent worth the time/money.

Here's My list of possible candiates. Help me if you see a spot i missed. Im looking for Sport lux. I want power, handling, comfort and looks, and my rang is 30-45 leanings towards the mid of that.

here's what has struck my eye so far.

Volvo S60-R
Volvo S40
Jagaur X-type
Ford Mustang GT
Lincoln LS
Cadillac CTS
Lexus IS300
Infiniti G35
Infiniti I35
Acura Tl
Acura TSX
Subaru Wrx Sti

RE: Time to replace the Mark.

1996-1997 Mercedes S500/S600 coupe.

1998 Mercedes CL500.

In that price range, the above are the only replacements for the Mark (IMHO). ;)

RE: Time to replace the Mark.

That Subaru is kick ass, guy at my job has one - it is insane! The only thing is, that it is tiny. Now the LS on the other hand is pretty sweet, talk about Dolb Digital sound system, I could get use to that. However the G35 is mean! I think that is your best bet. Stay away from the Caddy, I heard it can't get out of its own was, same for the Lexus. Good luck with your decision.

BTW - What's wrong with the Mark?

RE: Time to replace the Mark.

im probably gonna go with a chrysler 300c by the end of the year to mid next year. i got to drive one of the 300's without the hemi and it was a great car. im waiting on the dealership to get another hemi for my to try out. its either that or a g35 but since the 300c is getting AWD in the fall, its at the top.

RE: Time to replace the Mark.

My focus points.

S60-R

Acura TL

Subaru Sti

Infiniti G35 coupe

Mitsubishi Evo

Pontiac GTO

Im most likey going to trade in the mark. But i would take 5,500 for it.

RE: Time to replace the Mark.

I wont ever buy another DC product, and make sure you get a AWD hemi 300, The FWD tourqe steers like you wouldnt friging belive.

The 300C and the Dodge Magnum are RWD so no torque steer.

I like your list but they’re not all in the sport lux category as you mentioned in your original post. In fact the STI and the Evo are down right non lux.

If it was me (and I didn't have a Corvette) I'd probably wait until the fall and get an '05 GT. :)

S60-R

Subaru Sti

Infiniti G35 coupe

Mitsubishi Evo

Pontiac GTO

Lincoln LS ( 8000 bucks worth of factory incentives made it affordable )

RE: Time to replace the Mark.

The mustang is still in my head, but i dont feel like making my insurence jump up again, and Again I wont ever buy another DC procuct ever again.

RE: Time to replace the Mark.

My hate for Dc is it's customer support and how they have treated me.

I made a post about this Awhile back. Plus, none of the cars except the Srt-4 in the DC line up really do much for me, ans the Srt-4 is lacking everything but performence from what i want from my mark's re-placement.
