No, I didn't think it was worth the trouble, because the shop I took it to says they are a factory authorized repair shop.

If you look for the Seiko A829 digitals on eBay and are lucky enough to find one, be prepared for "price shock"! They command HUGE money on the 'Bay! I'm holding on to all mine for a long while!

I like the watch, it has an elegant look. I wear a Rolex. My Sister was a jeweler and I got it at cost about 30 years ago.
