White Lightning - Rebirth

According tot heir website the base price is $2K as stated. You have to buy from their authorized dealers so imagine the price may vary by region. I imagine the dealers probably try to get ya for more on delivery, options, and installation.

I must have one.

i found that after i asked, that isnt bad for being portable and easy to set up. i went looking on craigslist after seeing that, and in my area i found a few regular 2 post lifts, 6000 lb and 9000 lb for under 1,500 bucks used. if i put one in my shop thats what i would do is a tall 2 post cuz i dont have to worry about it being moved, but for a house garage, that lift is awesome that sure makes projects a lot more fun and easy!

I've gotten in on a group buy so the price was a little lower, plus some extra warranty etc...
Yes, you can buy a regular 2 post for that price, even one that would work with my ceiling which is bit over 10'. Since I wasn't going to use it for storage anyway, and definitely didn't like the columns to be permanently attached, this was a no brainer. I have access to full lifts if needed but for what I use it for, it's perfect, and it's right at home ;). 4 post makes engine removal rather impossible, so not a good choice for me either.

Lol its a cool setup. Have you guys seen the one post portable ones? I can't find a picture but there was one for sale on CL awhile back. The dealership used it for inspections and was basically a one side post with feet like a fork lift. Lifted 8 feet high too. Pretty neat and was only about 3K.

Since the holidays are over, it's time for an update.

The car came back from IceNineCustoms just before Christmas.

The engine bay has been put together as far as it can be before the engine goes back in.

Since I have to wait for some of the engine and trans components, I decided to move on to the back of the car.

Who says suspension parts cannot be pretty ?

Full bushing kit for the subframe, lower control arms and knuckles from Doug (DLF) along with new bearings and new mustang bolt pattern hubs; new bushings in the upper controls arms (one done, one still to do). Both subframes and components have been powdercoated.

Finally, I had some time to pull the old rear subframe out of the car. I forgot how much I love this lift ;)

I don't think the engine will go back in before the end of the month. But here's a sneak peak of the color choices ;)
