1st gen COPped car !

All I know is that when he gave the car back to her there was tire boogers all over the drivers side rear quarter. And that tire there had quite a bit more wear than any of the others. What a nice thing to do to your mothers brand new tires she just paid $500 for, right?

Oh man !! Jeremi get that thing cleaned up. It is probably the best looking Mark VIII color IMO. Not sure what shape it is in, judging by the spiderwebs...
LSC too drool.

Not really. Car is running great, I fixed all the trans leaks finally. New steering wheel is on, blue tint is OFF (blahhh).
I am seriously thinking of putting a vortech on it for the summer since I have most of the parts and the motor is in great shape.

OK, you've thought about it long enough! We expect to hear back from you Thursday by lunch time as to how much RWHP you pullied at Lidio's with the Vortech installed. Between you and Joe you can do this blind folded. LOL

Sorry Charlie but getting the motor in the CE is my priority right now. This one is just to get me by before the new beast is unleashed.

Let me just say that the pan already has a drain fitting on it. ;)

OK the oil cap is dirty and you're low on coolant ! Buahhaahah JK!

You did a great job Jeremi, looks like the 96 came stock with that engine. Then again you pulled the same thing off with your "other" 98.

I havent posted there in a long time, pretty much since I was "into" Marks. I still like them a lot, but I hadnt been able to play with my moms (now Jeremi's) for several months, and my dad doesnt drive his much anymore. I only recently posted there to advertise hers for sale (which Jeremi obviously picked up on). Jeremi pointed me to this site to show me this thread. But as I dont have a Mark to play with now (I guess Ill have to start saving up a bit huh?) Ive been pretty much 100% into the 2.3t community now since I drive a turbo coupe.

looking at the pics of your engine without the front coil packs it looks very much like with just that one hose and the intake box removed there is plenty of room in front of the engine for a single turbo

ive only had my mark 8 for about 7 weeks, i wasnt here a year and a half ago. when i was looking for info on the coil pack conversion i found this thread and looking at his pics made me think to post what i did about it

Hey man, there's nothing wrong with thread revival! Some people don't use search so you just brought it back to life! :D

glad i could help. lol. im looking into swapping on 99 cobra heads and intake and i want to use the cobra valve covers and coil pack setup so this tread provided some info. im sure a few other noobies will be glad its back in view also

Sweet, we love to help and please post pictures of your baby! Not here ofcourse, in the right thread, haha.
