Call for Lincolns!

BTW, I'm probably going to make a whole week of it, either before or after that weekend. I've got a buddy in NYC I'd like to see, and you and I should definitely hang out with him for a bit.
 
Someone talk to Hubby so I can finalize my plans. He doesn't tell me what he wants to do.
 
OK, I've registered for everything and made hotel arrangements. Sax, get registered.
 
So, is this a mini-meet of MN12s within the Ford racing event? When I went to the Mason Dixon Dragway website, they show different hours and prices for the show, etc ...

Quick recap...

Friday evening (6pm-??) - meet and greet hosted at local home about 20 minutes or so from hotel in Martinsburg.

Saturday 8am to 12 noon - private track rental at Mason Dixon Dragway(courtesy of Northern Virginia Mustang Club - MN12s, FN10s and special invitees welcome). Meet early at hotel parking lot to caravan to track. Leave track and return to hotel in Martinsburg.

Saturday afternoon/evening - Mid-Atlantic MN12 Picnic and Car Show (evening cruise?). Police escort from hotel in Martinsburg to park grounds.

Sunday - "All Ford" event at Mason Dixon Dragway (we usually arrive early) - Car Show w/ judging one side of track and drag racing with our own Cougar/T-Bird/Lincoln class on the other side of track. Some people do the show thing and others do the drag racing thing. There is usually a large group of us together in the pits. This usually lasts 'til after 5pm. Typically meet for dinner afterwards.

The Mrs. and I will probably take Friday off so we can get a head start on the long weekend. ;)

So, one could register for two car shows: one Saturday, and one Sunday. Ok :)

Absolutely! 2 shows in one weekend! ;)

While I'm sure the MAMN12 show will have a "Lincoln" class, I'm not sure what class the Lincolns would be in at the All Ford show.

I might be able to get over there for the Drags on Sunday.... the truck repairs just cleaned me out.... ESP warranty isn't all it's cracked up to be.....Then coming back from the Ford dealer, heard the rear brakes grinding against the rotors....when it rains - it pours!
 
FYI - anyone is welcome to come but at this point if you have not registered, you need me to pull a few strings for you to get in the Saturday morning track rental and Saturday afternoon picnic and car show. You can still pay at the individual events.

We have plenty of slots available for the track rental! :D

The All-Ford event (show/race) Sunday at the track is open to everyone (with a Ford that is, LOL). :)
 
we are sitting on drillers front porch eating pizza and sucking down brews. Got a nice pad in the hills. I am from chicago...... anything more than 3 feet is a hill. will post some pics tomorrow. Sax is here.
