Ever heard of water wetter?
or add a couple of teaspoons of "sandblasting sand".. or hell... BOTHOh heck, just run some CLR through if you get some corrosion LOL
umm? Water Wetter® Super Coolant
WaterWetter® is a unique wetting agent for cooling systems which reduces coolant temperatures by as much as 30ºF. This liquid product can be used to provide rust and corrosion protection in plain water for racing engines.
?
I wonder why they say that? Is this their discreet way of saying its not for DD use but its good enough for a racing engine which is going to be serviced very often?

Abe was implying that its ok to use in his car instead of the recommended coolant. In the right application (a racing engine) i'm sure it does it's job well. But, when it comes to a DD Mark VIII with a standard engine, i remain skeptical.
The 3000 stall converter really heats the engine up in traffic. With the AC on and ~100 outside, I can get the temp up to the "O".
I will be switching to Evans coolant when money and time permit.
Take a load off by putting the tranny on a separate cooler - it helped mine.
I think I'll swap to the Evans coolant when I put in the Cobra radiator.
My daily driving temps were reduced by about 15 degrees ("A" to "L"), so yes, it does work.
I run 85% water, with two bottles of Water Wetter. 180 tstat, stock pump and radiator.
