New man onboard

Thanks! Well, my little concern is so simple, BUT if you don't know do the research and/or ask somebody. My mark 8 1995, needs the solenoid reconnected to air bag. Had hard time turning and pulling it out. When finally got it loose, I looked inside the solenoid mount on bag, and saw a stuck o-ring wedged in there. One larger one on the ground, and one small one on end of solenoid. Hoping to find an exact solenoid pic with all o-rings in place. The pics I have seen, seem to differ slightly from mine. Kits have two small and one larger o-ring. Could swear it looks like only one small o ring goes on tip part. I'm probably wrong. Figure the larger o ring fits down further where solenoid gets bigger. Any pics or helpful info would be great. Bought supply of o-rings today from harbor freight. About to go outside now and see how I make out. Still appreciate any knowledge though. Thanks

This is probably the most clear sighting of the two o-ring. From my reading, even professional pages, it says the two o-rings are separated by a narrow section just like your pic shows. It would be wonderful if my solenoid had the identical narrow separator. Then I wouldn't have to think. Lol. Although I do have new o-rings I'm going to put the same ones back on since they seem to be still good enough, and the new ones aren't quite exact, though they probably would work ok. I tweezered the stuck one out and am using it beside the other one that stayed in place. I am however replacing the large ring with a new one, as it was brittle and stiff. I will connect all back together tomorrow. This was supposed to be an upper control arm repair only. Driver side!! That was supposed to be my headache (and it was) not this. I believe I got my answer for my fix. Stay calm! Keep pounding!
