Blue Flame, All Out

Taller Tire? Looks like the hiccup is happening way before 7,000 RPM, and I don't know what 127 means in the data tables but did want to share an observation I had on my runs.

Well yeah I guess a taller tire would help some, but I was being sarcastic meaning if I ran through the traps at 120 or even 127 mph, I should be satisfied. :D

I've read about the 127 mph limit before on different tuning forums, it has something to do with the way the PCM calculates.

Got ya! Wonder why though.---Never mind I'll stop with all the questions!

I think it looks great! :D

There are some details of course that need to be dealt with, but my first impression was WOW, it's bright!

I put it in the garage to keep the sun off of the new paint until we can get some good wax on it.

i just noticed the suspension is up a bit high from where I adjusted the ASHAM8 to roll it off the trailer. ;)

They ended up painting the entire car. It is still the original color, just seems brighter to me. I suspect that it is brighter than the 18 year old factory paint.

Better pics...

Besides a couple very minor imperfections and some water spots where they washed it prior to me picking it up, it looks very good.

They had the rear glass out to R&R the quarter panel and I ended up without tint on the rear glass for some reason. :(

While not immediately noticeable, the rear LSC bumper has exhaust cutouts that look a bit out of place with the turn-down tips on the mufflers. I suspect some shiny mufflers and different tips will fix that. ;)

All things considered, I'm happy with the way it turned out. In a strange way, I miss the chrome trim now that it has the LSC bumpers and side moulding. For some strange reason they never filled in the holes in the front bumper for the license plate holder.

Next task is taking care of some details, cleaning the trunk area and under the hood. Apparently to be street legal again, I have to get it inspected, fill out some paperwork and have the DMV look at it before they will issue a R title and a new registration sticker.

Nice! :D

The hood looks a bit better. ;)

And I see that you've still got an issue with the parking brake cable. :(

Awesome JP !

I do the inspections frequently. Make sure all lights including the license plate light, horn, seat belts, and wipers are in working order prior so that there is no surprises.

You need a new back glass/gasket though. Want me to line one up for Bill's meet ?
