Welcome aboard! I love this car too. I never kept a car more than 2 years until I bought my Mark... 10 years ago! I say do the JMOD, I did mine 8 years ago, and the trans lasted 170K miles before it needed rebuilt.

Yep, just as easy to tape them off and leave them on there. I think maybe if I had waxed the lights once a month or so it would have held up better?
