Do it yourself. Make sure it has a near empty fuel tank. Its about as easy as changing your oil. Seriously no big deal.

Also check your coils. If there is a crack along the coil, discard it. We just replaced 5 ($!) at one time.

Your exhaust system is the best place to save gas mileage, as is your custom chip which will be needed after your exhaust. I believe Ponyfreak got upwards of 30mpg back and forth to the track, while running 12's when he would race it.

I tried a Mach 460 unit out of a Mustang and it definitely will NOT work. I'm not sure about any others. The connectors on the Mach 460 were different, and they amp the tweeters and woofers seperately.

Torque converter. 3.73 is not enough gear. My recommendation is 4.10 or 4.30. Make sure your custom exhaust is built correctly. If it's full of press bends it won't free up any power at all. Good luck.
